[April 2024] NYC food pop-ups, events, specials, and things to do

Bringing you another month of NYC food pop-ups and events. Important food happenings in NYC that deserve their own blurbs:

April is the last month in Girl Scout cookie season so find a local Girl Scout or Troupe (or better yet buy online or in person from Troupe 6000, which is comprised entirely of girls who are experiencing homelessness) to buy a box (or three) from.

April 27th marks the return of the beloved Queens Night Market (@queensnightmarket) Saturdays from 4PM to midnight in Flushing Meadow, but if you can't hold your horses $5.44 sneak preview tickets are on sale for April 13th and April 20th via Eventbrite. Come early, bring friends, and divide and conquer before lines get long and the weather gets too hot.

Not food but the cherry blossoms in NYC are coming! The New York Times (and some commenters) is my go-to source for where and when to drop everything, maybe rent a tandem bike in Central Park, and pack (or buy) a little lunch for two.
